Our History

Founded in May

The business was founded by Nick and Simon Bywater. The brothers used half of Nick's garage as an office space and Simon's as a store. With a couple of garages, one computer and shared knowledge in the field, ByWater Services was born.

First job

ByWater's first job was at RAF Stafford, updating and modernising an old system. The brothers completed this work using Nick’s father-in-law’s van.

ByWater Services began to do reclaim service work up and down the country. 

First significant order

The brothers also achieved their first significant order, an Ozone disinfection system for Oxford City Council.

First van purchase

Nick and Simon bought their first van within their first two months of business.

First employee

They also hired their first engineer and moved into the premises at Ashby, where they stayed for five years. 

Over the following few years, the work really picked up with major wash companies and their own direct customers. This meant that the brothers could employ more engineers to complete work in the factory, as well as travel up and down the country to different sites.

Receiving recognition in the media for our reclamation work.

Another international project - Doha, Qatar.

The team took on another international water reclamation project, this time located in Qatar and achieving 97% water recycling efficiency.

Partnerships, projects and an aquisition

ByWater Services partnered with Tecnoter, Pramac and AQUAPHOR Professional. Taking a new path and expanding into drinking water solutions.

The business took on their biggest project to date - SeAH Wind.

At the end of the year, ByWater Services acquired System Chassisjet, welcoming them into their premises in Coalville.
